Company Overview: Founded in 2015, Phil is a San Francisco-based health-tech startup building a platform for streamlined prescription delivery between doctors, pharmacies, and patients.
Position Overview: Seeking a Quality Leader to optimize workflows within internal pharmacy, fulfillment partners, and patient/provider advocacy teams. Reporting to the CTO, this role focuses on enhancing operational efficiency and service quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive quality management systems for improved workflow efficiency.
- Continuously enhance operational processes to eliminate inefficiencies.
- Regularly evaluate and optimize quality programs using stakeholder feedback.
- Collaborate with internal teams (pharmacy, fulfillment, patient advocacy) to implement improved processes.
- Lead root cause analyses for quality issues and drive process optimization.
- Develop and implement new quality standards, policies, and procedures.
- Supervise, mentor, and guide the quality team, fostering a continuous improvement culture.
- Prepare and present quality reports to senior management, highlighting key performance indicators.
Qualifications:
- 7-10 years of quality management experience, optimizing workflows in complex environments.
- Experience in pharmacy/healthcare (preferred), or strong background in operations/customer service.
- Proven success in leading quality improvement initiatives.
- Strong analytical skills to identify inefficiencies and develop solutions.
- Understanding of quality assurance principles, operational workflows, and process optimization best practices.
- Ability to work cross-functionally and resolve process issues.
- Willingness to learn internal operational workflows.
- Collaborative team player.
- Quality management certification (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean, ASQ) preferred.
