- Perform quality and quantity inspections of cargoes.
- Follow detailed instructions.
- Review job files prior to inspection.
- Ensure inspections are performed according to approved procedures.
- Prepare necessary tools, instruments, and documentation.
- Provide guidance to junior inspectors.
- Supervise inspection teams when required.
- Check vessel arrival status.
- Draft field reports.
- Assist in daily operations.
- Update on daily operations and problems.
- Maintain equipment.
- Bring discrepancies to attention and take preventive measures.
- Adhere to SGS Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Policy.
- Perform other responsibilities as assigned.
Minimum diploma in technical related field.
Knowledge of inspection skill will add to advantage.
Able to read, write and understand well in English and/or Bahasa Malaysia.
Good communication and coordination skill.
Good understand/knowledge of the business operational activities and customer needs.
Computer literate.
Frequent travelling required with valid driving license.
