Quality Support Fleet Engineer

The Quality Support Fleet Engineer is responsible for maintaining the reliability and performance of deployed autonomous vehicle fleets. This role focuses on triaging fleet issues, analyzing data, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive resolution.

Essential Responsibilities

• Serve as a first line of defense against urgent fleet issues.
• Own issues until resolution.
• Investigate reported fleet issues.
• Ensure issues and resolutions are documented.
• Provide assistance with day-to-day technical aspects.
• Other duties as assigned.

Skills and Abilities

• Interpret engineering documents (CAD drawings, wiring diagrams).
• Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and analytical skills.
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
• Experience operating and debugging complex electro-mechanical systems.
• Compose technical documentation.
• Engage in real-time remote product support.
• Continuously learn new software and workflows.
• Prioritize multiple tasks.
• Work non-standard hours (weekends, holidays, shifts).
• Support international customers.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in engineering or commensurate quality experience.
• Valid U.S. Driver's License.
• Ability to undergo driving record check.
• Experience in quality or manufacturing engineering (desirable).
• Previous product customer service experience (desirable).
• Experience with troubleshooting Autonomous Vehicles Systems (desirable).
• Ability to read/debug code in C++, Python, Shell, or JavaScript (desirable).
• Familiarity with using and troubleshooting Linux (desirable).
