Strategic Analytics & Insights (SA&I) at NielsenIQ is an industry-leader that helps businesses understand and predict consumer behavior, empowering clients to make informed decisions and drive brand growth.
As part of our Product Leadership Neuro R&D team, you’ll play a crucial role in supporting new product development and enhancing existing product capabilities.
Leveraging neuroscience and advanced analytics, you’ll address questions related to consumer preference, decision-making, advertisement effectiveness, packaging design, and more.
Responsibilities:
- Working with neuroscience, behavioral, and survey data to compile, analyze, and summarize findings from complex datasets for internal teams.
- Working closely with cross-functional teams to execute R&D studies (Product Leadership, Neuroscience, Engineering, Operations).
- Drafting reports and presentations for internal stakeholders.
- Liaising with operations teams to manage and track project timelines.
- Performing literature reviews on neuroscience and behavioral science topics.
- Assisting in the creation of thought leadership pieces.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in neuroscience, psychology, cognitive sciences, data science, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in research and data analysis.
- Experience setting up experimental designs, executing research studies, and maintaining research documentation.
- Experience with data analysis software (Python required).
- Proficient in statistical methods for complex data analysis (e.g., regression, PCA, clustering).
- Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills; translating data into understandable presentations without using generative AI.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Passion for applying behavioral science data to business solutions.
- Demonstrated project management skills.
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
