Regulatory Gaming Specialist role at ALH Gaming rooms.
Support the Operations Manager to ensure compliance within ALH Gaming rooms.
Partner with Venue Managers and teams to raise awareness, develop processes, and support effective compliance outcomes.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and optimize financial crime and safer gambling controls.
Responsibilities include:
- Maintain specialist state-based Gaming Compliance knowledge (AML/CTF, Safer Gaming, Gaming Machine Control Act).
- Implement strategies to embed compliance objectives.
- Collaborate with AML and safer gambling teams for control improvement.
- Support venue teams with escalated decisions and advice.
- Develop and deliver training modules for gaming employees.
- Track regulatory and audit findings to completion.
- Assist with uplifted AML/CTF and safer gambling processes, capability, and technology.
- Share insights with the Operational Manager regarding Compliance improvements and opportunities.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years experience in a gaming operations position.
- Knowledge of the AML/CTF Act, safer gambling practices, and Gaming Machine Control Act (Victoria).
- Strong relationship-building skills.
- Ability to adapt to changing customer needs.
- Strong stakeholder management skills.
- Strong initiative, time management, and communication skills.
- Bachelor's Degree (desirable).
- Experience enhancing organisational compliance capability (data, technology, training, intelligence) (desirable).
