Contractor Remote Mechanical Engineer (ANSA)

Role: Mechanical Engineer (ANSA)

Work Location: 100% Remote

Duration: 6 – 12 months with conversion option.

Job Type: Contract to Permanent

Initial Objective: Collaborate in structural analysis projects supporting CAD model preparation for simulation (geometry cleaning, mesh creation, boundary condition assignment).

Responsibilities:

• Perform pre-processing of CAD models in ANSA.
• Create high-quality structural meshes for CAE/FEA analysis.
• Support geometry cleaning and model preparation for simulation.
• Collaborate closely with the simulation engineering team.
• Meet project deadlines.

Requirements:

• Degree or letter of intent in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or similar.
• Knowledge and experience in ANSA for meshing (academic, university projects, or freelance).
• Basic knowledge of finite element methods (FEA).
• Technical analysis skills and attention to detail.
• Immediate availability to work as a freelancer.
• Previous experience in real CAE projects.
• Knowledge of automotive or aerospace meshing regulations.
• Basic or intermediate technical English.
• Ongoing training and technical support.
