Job Details
NBCUniversal's Cyber Threat Operations team is seeking a Response Operations Shift Lead to supervise daily shift operations, ensuring performance, prioritization, and adherence to company standards.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor KPIs and shift metrics, identifying areas for improvement.
- Act as primary point of contact for escalations.
- Oversee and triage ticket queues, focusing on impact and escalations.
- Support Incident response, working escalated tickets for security threats.
- Perform root cause and forensic log analysis for security incidents.
- Analyze threat data, identifying security incidents for escalation.
- Take containment response actions and function as Incident Handler.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to resolve Cyber Incidents.
- Keep detailed notes on all analysis activity.
- Contribute to the creation of response process documentation.
- Provide On-Call support for escalated events.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in IT or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years in Cyber Defense with Incident Response, SOC, or similar functions.
- Experience leading incident response functions.
- Knowledge of security toolsets and Enterprise IT concepts.
- Experience with forensics tools and analysis.
- Knowledge of the cyber threat landscape and security frameworks.
- Strong communication skills.
