Full-Time Roads and Highways Analyst I/II

Timmons Group is seeking a Roads and Highways LRS Analyst to join our GIS Staff Augmentation group.

The LRS Analyst performs production tasks for Geospatial Transportation projects and data management. They support Project Managers and Developers in meeting project deliverable requirements and deadlines.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Use GIS software (ESRI ArcGIS), geographic data formats, and standard conversion/transformation methods for analysis.
• Perform transportation data model design and development.
• Update geospatial data as needed.
• Create maps, applications, data products, reports, and presentations for GIS projects.
• Write end-user documentation.
• Provide ongoing support for GIS/LRS programs and functions.
• Troubleshoot GIS applications, tools, and data.

Skills/Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in GIS, Surveying, Engineering, Geography, Information Systems, or related field, and at least one year of related experience/training.
• Hands-on experience with Linear Referencing Systems (LRS) and/or Esri's Roads and Highways is required.
• Experience with ESRI ArcGIS Software (Desktop, Extensions, Enterprise, Server).
• Knowledge of ESRI tools (Data Reviewer, Workflow Manager) is a plus.
• Experience with Python, Model Builder, and other Geoprocessing techniques.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team with strong time management skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
