Full-Time Sales Planning Analyst

Team Goal: Drive sales growth via improved data, analytics, and tools for the sales team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create internal presentations using various data sources.
• Present actionable insights to sales teams, leadership, and executives.
• Analyze category and competitive trends.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and other teams.
• Synthesize data from multiple sources.
• Maintain and update sales reporting systems (e.g., depletions, consumption, shipments).
• Present data in an easy-to-understand format, utilizing effective visualizations.
• Translate data into actionable insights and narratives.
• Develop and maintain sales scorecards.
• Reduce non-sales work for the sales team by creating templates, processes, and reference materials.
• Potential Contributions: Assist with sales forecasting.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in sales operations, sales planning, category management, shopper insights, marketing, consulting, or brand management. CPG and/or Retail Sales experience preferred.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills, with a focus on PowerPoint.
• Proven ability to present insights visually using PowerPoint.
• Experience with data sources like Circana, Nielsen, 84.51, VIP iDIG (preferred).
• Excellent oral and written communication skills; experience presenting to senior executives and creating data visualizations.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills; ability to integrate data sets to identify opportunities.
• Ability to clearly and concisely articulate data/insights.
• Customer service orientation to ensure quality support for internal partners.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, results-oriented, self-motivated individual.
• Collaborative in 1:1 and group settings across all levels.
• Values accuracy and facts.
• Flexible and adaptable to changing business needs.
• Project Management skills are a plus.
• Cross-functional knowledge (sales, finance, marketing) is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field.
• Travel as needed.
