Full-Time Sales Planning Analyst

Goal: Drive sales growth by providing better data, analytics, and tools to the sales team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create internal presentations using various data sources.
• Present actionable insights to diverse audiences (sales, leadership, executive).
• Analyze category and competitive trends.
• Develop strong relationships with Sales, Marketing, and other teams.
• Synthesize data from multiple sources.
• Update and maintain reporting systems (depletions, consumption, shipments, etc.).
• Present data in understandable formats, including effective visualizations.
• Turn data into action: Develop actionable insights and narratives.
• Provide fact-based viewpoints in deliverables.
• Ensure insights and strategy execution through sales scorecards.
• Reduce non-sales work for the sales team by creating templates, processes, and reference sheets.
• Potential assistance in sales forecasting.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum 5 years in sales operations, planning, category management, shopper insights, marketing, consulting, or brand management. CPG/Retail experience preferred.
• Software Proficiency: Advanced Microsoft Office skills, especially PowerPoint. Proven success in creating visual insights.
• Data Sources: Experience with Circana, Nielsen, 84.51, VIP iDIG (preferred).
• Communication: Excellent oral and written communication, experience presenting to senior executives and creating compelling data visuals.
• Analysis: Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, ability to integrate multiple datasets to identify opportunities and make recommendations.
• Other Skills: Ability to interpret and articulate data/insights clearly, customer service mindset, focused, highly organized, attention to detail, results-oriented, collaborative, values accuracy, self-motivated, adaptable, flexible. Project Management experience a plus.
