Salesforce Solution Architect at Western Digital
We are inviting applications for an exciting opportunity at Western Digital for a Salesforce Solution Architect. As a solution architect and thought leader your contribution will make a huge impact on the success of the sales organization by improving process automation & introducing efficiency. In this role, you will:
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, program managers, BI team, IT team, and other stakeholders to create and maintain the Salesforce project roadmap. Lead the project development from the front.
- Ensure that the deployed solutions have technical integrity, stability, and scalability.
- Be curious, proactive, and self-motivated. Work independently or as a team player as needed.
- Design scalable and robust solutions that meet business requirements and align with enterprise security standards and best practices.
- Gather feedback, identify gaps, and propose solutions in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
- Have expertise in Salesforce Sales Cloud, Manufacturing Cloud, or Service Cloud.
- Evaluate and recommend new technologies, integrations, tools, and frameworks to improve Salesforce solutions and adoption.
- Develop and maintain documentation of the system architecture, design, integration, end-to-end process flow, and configuration.
- Lead and facilitate workshops, training sessions, and knowledge-sharing activities to promote best practices and security awareness among Salesforce users and developers.
- Stay updated on the latest trends, developments, and innovations in the Salesforce ecosystem and security domain.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to the team of Salesforce Administrators, Developers, Platform, and Integrations experts.
- Present and communicate proposals and enterprise-wide solutions to a wide audience.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 10+ years of experience in Salesforce Sales Cloud or Manufacturing Cloud as a Salesforce Developer, Functional Analyst, Salesforce Admin, or in a related role.
- 5+ years of technical, in-depth experience implementing Salesforce solutions with a focus on security architecture.
- Strong experience in Salesforce integrations with other platforms.
- Salesforce System & Application Architecture Certifications are a big plus.
- Proven track record of leading Salesforce projects from conception to completion.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex technical information to a non-technical audience.
- Up-to-date knowledge of the latest trends and best practices in the Salesforce ecosystem.
