Full-Time SAP Finance Data Consultant

We are seeking an experienced SAP Finance Data Consultant to join our team at a leading pharmaceutical company. This role can be based in either Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, or Shanghai, China, depending on your location and preference. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing, configuring, and supporting SAP Finance solutions, with a specific focus on financial data management, billing accuracy, and revenue-related processes. You will ensure seamless integration and operation of SAP systems to support business growth in the pharmaceutical industry.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead the implementation, configuration, and optimization of SAP Finance solutions, particularly around revenue and billing processes.
2. Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand financial processes related to revenue generation, billing, and data operations, translating them into effective SAP solutions.
3. Design and implement data models, workflows, and reporting solutions within SAP FICO (Financial Accounting and Controlling) and other relevant SAP modules.
4. Provide expertise in integrating SAP Finance solutions with other systems (e.g., SAP SD, SAP MM, and third-party applications).
5. Support data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes to ensure accurate financial data management, especially for billing and revenue streams.
6. Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve issues related to financial data processes and SAP Finance modules, particularly those tied to invoicing and revenue recognition.
7. Develop custom reports and dashboards to provide insights into financial performance, billing accuracy, and revenue management.
8. Provide training and support to end-users to ensure effective use of SAP Finance systems.
9. Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and industry standards in all SAP Finance processes.
10. Perform system testing, data migration, and post-implementation support activities.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as an SAP Finance Consultant with 2+ years of hands-on experience in SAP FICO.
• Strong knowledge of financial data management, particularly in areas of billing, revenue recognition, and related operations.
• Experience with SAP Finance modules, especially FICO, and integration with other modules such as SAP SD and MM.
• Expertise in data management, ETL processes, and data migration in SAP environments, particularly for revenue-related operations.
• Ability to analyze complex data and provide actionable insights to business stakeholders.
• Familiarity with the pharmaceutical or life sciences industry is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and clients.
• SAP certification in FICO or related financial modules is a strong advantage.
