As an SDET II at Entain's In-House Studios, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest quality and compliance of our games. You will be responsible for defining and executing test strategies, creating comprehensive test scripts, and identifying and resolving issues to guarantee a seamless and engaging gaming experience for our players.
- Manual Testing: Conduct detailed, manual testing of our games to ensure quality and compliance with industry standards.
- Automation Testing: Create and run automated tests in line with Entain Engineering standards to enhance testing efficiency.
- Test Strategy: Define, document, and execute effective test strategies for new and existing games.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other SDET's, developers, and stakeholders to ensure thorough testing and high-quality releases.
- Problem-Solving: Identify, report, and track issues, and work with the development team to resolve them.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure all games meet the highest standards of quality and player expectations through meticulous testing and attention to detail.
Essential:
- Proven experience in software testing, including both web and mobile platforms.
- Demonstrated ability to prepare comprehensive test documentation, such as test plans, test scripts, test strategies, defect reports, and progress updates.
- Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Strong ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Adaptability to changing requirements with a positive and proactive attitude.
- Effective team player with the ability to work independently and take initiative.
Desired:
- Experience using tools like JIRA and Testrail for issue tracking.
- Experience of gambling regulations in the UK & other EU jurisdictions.
- Previous experience in testing betting or gaming software.
- Familiarity with automated testing tools and frameworks.
- Knowledge of continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) practices.
