We are seeking a Remote Search Engine Optimization Manager to oversee our SEO strategies and help build a high-performance team. The goal is to help our automotive dealerships achieve industry-leading organic placement for relevant industry search terms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategy Development: Create and implement an overall SEO strategy that aligns with business goals.
- Team Management: Build and lead a team of SEO specialists, content creators, and assist digital marketers.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with other departments such as, onboarding, web development, support, and marketing to ensure SEO strategies are integrated across all channels.
- Budget Management: Manage tools, resources, and potential external agencies to create a symbiotic relationship when necessary.
- Reporting and Analysis: Analyze SEO data and KPIs to make informed decisions and adjustments to strategies, and share critical information with our customer facing team.
- Staying Updated: Keep up with industry trends and search engine algorithm changes to continuously refine SEO tactics.
Qualifications:
- Technical SEO Skills: Deep understanding of technical SEO aspects, such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and how they affect search engine rankings.
- Analytical Skills: Proficiency in using SEO tools like SE Rankings, Google Analytics, SEMrush, Moz, and others for performance tracking and data analysis.
- Content Strategy: Experience in developing and managing content strategies to improve organic search visibility.
- Project Management: Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and priorities.
- Communication Skills: Ability to communicate complex SEO concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of Latest SEO Trends: Keep up to date with the latest trends and algorithm changes in search engines to adapt strategies accordingly.
Certifications:
- SEO and Digital Marketing Certifications: Certifications from recognized organizations, such as Google Analytics, HubSpot, SEMrush, Google Search Console, can enhance a candidate's qualification.
