Full-Time Security Admin II - Sports Next

Security Administrator II role will be responsible for maintaining and managing NBCSports Next Operational system security and platform governance. This includes system and software security hardening, maintaining organizational security procedures, and developing processes to meet organizational compliance and governance objectives. 24/7 support availability required.

Ensuring business compliance and governance initiatives are met across NBCSports Next. Key resource for software platforms to meet/exceed industry standard compliance and privacy requirements.

Responsible for leading and managing PCI-DSS compliance program, and managing privacy programs (GDPR, CCPA).

Ensuring on-premises and cloud-based infrastructure is patched, up-to-date, and meets regulatory objectives (PCI-DSS, NBCUniversal).

Communicate the importance of key programs and services to obtain business support, trust, and buy-in. Presenting findings, technical reports to executive stakeholders.

1. Contribute to developing and executing a comprehensive PCI DSS technical assessment program by reviewing, evaluating, and testing security policies.
2. Develop effective communication and collaboration with internal/external teams to facilitate discussion, preparing final reports based on audit tests.
3. Configure and manage IT infrastructure (servers, switches, SIEM, storage arrays, cloud-hosted infrastructure).
4. Monitor and manage daily tickets for employee access, onboarding, and offboarding.
5. Maintain active role in organization's patching schedule and process.
6. Responding to service interruptions.
7. Test and evaluate systems for vulnerabilities (manual/automated).
8. Perform performance tuning, hardware upgrades, and resource optimization.
9. Develop automation solutions to drive compliance and security.

Requirements

• 4+ years’ experience in Corporate IT.
• Working knowledge of common IT security frameworks (PCI DSS, NIST 800-53, ISO 27001, HITRUST).
• Subject Matter Expertise in Windows/Linux Operating Systems, Network Devices and protocols, data flow diagrams.
• Knowledge of industry standards (OWASP Top 10, SANS 25, CWEs).
• Self-driven to think creatively and produce results.
• Knowledge of security defense tools (WAF, IDS/IPS, SIEM, AntiVirus).
• Articulate security-related principles in business terms.
• Ability to interact with common version control management systems (GitHub).
• Understanding of various data and privacy regulations (PCI DSS, SOX, HIPAA, GDPR, CCPA).
• Understanding of common cloud service environments (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Experience designing security network architectures.
• Experience using diagramming tools (Lucidchart, Visio).
• Knowledge of deploying security solutions (SIEM, Patching, Vulnerability Scanning, File Integrity monitoring).
• Certifications in PCI DSS, NIST 800-53, ISO 27001, HITRUST (desired).
