We are seeking a Security Engineer to join our team! The ideal candidate will have a proven background in firewall operations including Google Firewalls and Palo Alto Next Gen Firewalls. This role includes ensuring the security and integrity of our systems with a focus on payer domain expertise. The candidate will contribute to our mission of safeguarding sensitive information and maintaining robust security protocols.
What you’ll do:
- Oversee the operation and maintenance of various firewall systems including Google Firewalls and Palo Alto Next Gen Firewalls. .
- Communicating efficiently to all customers on a periodic basis
- Provide preventative maintenance, troubleshooting and quickly resolve problems to ensure infrastructure and application stability
- Review vulnerability scan output and assess update configuration / OS upgrade can be used to mitigate attacks.
- Incident management, Change Management for different severity levels and following critical issue matrix for ensuring SLA adherence
- Detailing changes, Run books, SOP, Diagrams.
What you bring to the role:
- Must have 4-7 years of experience in firewall operations specifically with Google Firewalls and Palo Alto Next Gen Firewalls
- Good understanding of Palo Alto Network firewalls and cisco, including configuration, rule management, and troubleshooting. Familiarity with feature such as advanced threat protection and SSL decryption
- Expertise and understanding on VPN(RA,S2S) Configuration, ACL / NAT configuration
- Proficiency in managing Palo Alto firewalls through Panorama. This includes policy management, device groups, templates, and centralized monitoring/logging
