Full-Time Security Incident Communications Manager

• Develop & Maintain Communication Plans: Create and update communication playbooks for security incident types.
• Coordinate with Incident Response: Partner with the incident response team to gather facts and assess situations.
• Manage Stakeholder Messaging:
  
  • Internal Employees: Share updates on incident status and potential risks.
  • External Customers: Provide timely information on incident impact and mitigation steps.
  • Public Relations (PR): Brief the PR team to handle media inquiries.
• Ensure Regulatory Compliance: Collaborate with the Security Legal team to align communications with GDPR and CCPA.
• Document & Report: Maintain records of all incident communication activities.
• Post-Incident Improvement: Lead after-action reviews to refine playbooks and processes.

• Experience in leveraging or critically thinking about how to integrate AI into work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving.
• Strong Organizational Skills: Plan and execute complex communication plans under tight deadlines.
• Exceptional Communication Skills: Distill technical situations into clear messaging.
• Crisis Management: Manage communications during high-pressure situations.
