Full-Time Security Operations Center Manager

Reports to: Director, Security Operations Center

Location: Remote Ireland

Compensation Range: €115,000 to €130,000 base plus bonus and equity

What We Do: Huntress is a fully remote, global team of passionate experts and ethical badasses on a mission to break down the barriers to cybersecurity. We protect businesses with enterprise-grade, fully owned, and managed cybersecurity products.

What You’ll Do: The Huntress Security Operations Center is a global team investigating and responding to incidents. Daily activities consist of investigation, containment, and response actions.

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and enforce internal processes to increase productivity.
• Manage shift coverage to ensure 24/7 operations.
• Meet with analysts weekly to provide feedback and support their growth.
• Contribute to analyst training programs (Digital Forensics, Incident Response, etc.).
• Work with product organizations to prioritize new capabilities.
• Maintain quality assurance for the designated region.
• Engage with support to create streamlined workflows.
• Provide technical leadership to analysts.
• Ensure team members understand Huntress' mission.
• Provide input to stakeholders (Marketing, Sales, Support, Product).
• Develop, track, and report on Objectives and Key Results.
• Help operationalize new technologies.
• Participate in public speaking engagements.

What You Bring:

• Experience leading cybersecurity teams.
• 4+ years of Security Analyst experience in a global 24x7 SOC.
• 1+ year of team lead or managerial experience.
• Actively engaged in the information security community.
• Continuously learning about threats and security operations.
• Ability to create process diagrams.
• Effective communication of technical concepts.
• Experience using platforms like Elasticsearch or Splunk.
• Experience leading initiatives and projects.
• Data-driven approach with experience in Data Science.
• Experience with Time-Series analysis.
