Full-Time Security Subject Matter Expert (DHS ICE)

ISN is seeking Security Subject Matter Experts to support DHS ICE ERO Directorate Division.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments of ICE detention facilities, reviewing, evaluating, and preparing detailed reports on security, safety, and facility emergency preparedness, providing recommendations based on standards (e.g., ACA, ICE detention standards) to address non-compliance issues.
• Review, evaluate, and prepare reports gathering, analyzing, and compiling data on detention environments to detect violations of ICE detention standards, ICE policy and procedures, and Federal, state, and local laws.
• Ensure the effectiveness of facility security and custody management, and that reports address all aspects of this.

Qualifications:

• Active DHS clearance or ability to obtain clearance.
• US Citizenship.
• Ability to travel nationwide for onsite investigations for several consecutive days.
• Investigative, monitoring, or quality control experience related to corrections and detention operations.
• Minimum five years' experience as a Chief of Security, Captain, or equivalent in a secure custodial setting.
• Experience reviewing large amounts of documentary evidence and providing oral briefings, written reports, and training under tight timelines.
