Full-Time Security Technik Administrator

PurposeThe Security Engineer is part of a global team of expert engineers in data center technologies (storage, servers, systems). Security Engineering focuses on security aspects in system design, addressing disruptions from natural disasters to malicious acts. The role supports delivering engineering solutions that meet functional/user requirements, while preventing misuse and malicious behavior.

What You Will Do

• Implementation and Administration/IT Operation: Endpoint/Extended Detection and Response (EDR/XDR) solutions, Microsoft Defender (Endpoint, Cloud, Identity, Cloud Apps, Office 365), Sophos Intercept X (EDR/XDR) and Sophos SG/XG Firewall.
• Standardization and Automation of workflows using scripting tools. Planning, Design, and Execution of commissioning and operation for EDR/XDR solutions.
• Handling and execution of complex assignments.
• Assisting in the preparation of decision-making templates and concepts.
• Installing and maintaining associated tools.
• Developing and planning service concepts.
• Managing order processing and ensuring adherence to agreed service levels.
• Creating documentation.

You Will Succeed If You

• Hold a Master's or Diplom degree, or equivalent knowledge/skills.
• Have at least five years of professional experience, with a minimum of three years in IT administration.
• Have solid experience in security with EDR/XDR solutions (e.g., MS Defender, Sophos Intercept X).
• Have practical experience with Microsoft and Linux infrastructure services.
• Have expertise in M365 or Azure Security (Identity & Access, Endpoint, Information, Threat & Network Protection, Risk & Compliance), and operating hybrid Azure and on-premises solutions.
• Ideally, have practical experience with Zero Trust architectures.
• Have experience working with proxy solutions.
• Have technical certifications such as Microsoft Security SC-200, SC-400, SC-900, or Sophos Certified Technician.
• Exhibit strong customer-oriented thinking/actions.
• Work analytically, systematically, and structured.
• Show flexibility, resilience, and motivation.
• Possess excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
• Have advanced technical expertise and knowledge of related technologies.
• Display strong cooperation, teamwork, and conflict resolution skills.
• Have excellent English language skills.

SalaryFinal salary is negotiable. Base salary is negotiable depending on seniority level and experience, with a minimum of 1300 EUR/brutto. Variable and other financial benefits are available.
