Job Details
Senior Account Manager has primary responsibility for helping and managing specific Account Services activities for assigned clients.
Develop and execute strategies to grow revenue that meets and exceeds objectives, including client development, retention, and annual planning.
Ensure client revenue goals are achieved.
Lead the development, presentation, and selling of high-quality deliverables.
Monitor industry and therapeutic area best practices and advances.
Partner with Medical to provide best-in-class strategy.
Actively participate in client presentations, selling and defending the agency's point of view.
Represent the organization appropriately. Support the Account Director in new business efforts with potential clients.
Support the development and implementation of new business development opportunities.
Support the Account Director in creating and submitting RFPs, proposals, and pitch decks.
Lead internal cross-functional core teams and clients on the strategic and tactical plan, design, and execution of innovative pharmaceutical advertising and marketing initiatives.
Manage key constituent relationships.
Attend client meetings, conference calls, and clearly communicate key learnings and action items to the team and client.
Manage client strategy and objectives in balance with internal team needs.
Initiate projects and serve as project owner.
Lead defining project strategic objectives, budget, and completion of SOWs.
Lead kickoff meetings with clients, vendors, and key opinion leaders.
Review deliverables to ensure project objectives, quality standards, and client expectations are met.
Monitor and manage activities to ensure timely delivery.
Ensure content and design is consistent with product strategy and client expectations.
Resolve conflict and celebrate success; set clear team priorities, define success for the whole team.
Be a positive force for enhancing the work culture, consensus-building, and internal communications.
Manage budgets (forecast, expenses, accruals) for individual projects.
Develop client SOWs or project initiation forms (PIFs) independently.
Monitor budget and hours, and communicate financial details and changes to client and management.
Partner with clients to resolve financial issues.
Verify that billing schedule milestones are communicated to Finance.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree
- Minimum 3 years' experience in advertising and account/client services support in pharmaceutical marketing
- History of successful management of more than $1 million of fee/year
- Specific industry/therapeutic expertise
- Experience leading print, digital, and video advertising initiatives
