Full-Time Senior Analyst - Retail

Retail Team: Works with NielsenIQ's Retailer clients to build value-added partnerships, becoming the primary source of business insights.

Senior Analyst Responsibilities: Understand client needs, provide products, services, and analytical insights to achieve their business goals. Experience with data analysis, integrating various data sources, and client presentations is essential. Work collaboratively within a team and with client organizations.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Post-secondary degree in Marketing/Business or related field
• 2+ years of marketing, retail, or category management experience
• Strong analytical skills, preferably in CPG or Retail
• Demonstrated ability to provide insights from data and address client business issues
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent presentation skills
• Strong client relationship building/management skills
• Knowledge of NielsenIQ products and services (preferred)
• Ability to challenge the status quo and multi-task
• Independent decision-making with a collaborative problem-solving approach
• Strong data manipulation skills (Excel), leveraging technology effectively
• Familiarity with Power BI and/or Tableau
• Accountable, results-driven, open to new ideas and continuous learning
• Proactive creation of innovative insights to challenge the status quo
• Strong sales mindset with client relationship building abilities

Location: Greater Halifax or Stellarton area; 3 days/week onsite in Stellarton.
