Who You AreBrightwheel seeks a Senior Analytics Engineer to join the Analytics team. You should be passionate about data, possess strong SQL, DBT, and data modeling skills, and enjoy deep data discovery based on business problems. You must have experience juggling multiple projects, delivering value to the business, and taking ownership of high-impact projects.
What You’ll DoAs an analytics engineer, you'll build and maintain the data layer for Brightwheel's analytics stack, from raw data to analyzable data. You'll apply software engineering practices, collaborating with business users, data analysts, and engineers.
- Writing SQL in DBT to create performant data models
- Collaborating with business users and data analysts
- Improving existing data models and reports
- Troubleshooting and improving ETL pipelines
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience as an analytics engineer, data engineer, data analyst, or DBA
- 2+ years of advanced SQL scripting
- 1+ years of experience coding in dbt
- Strong communication skills
