Job Overview: Senior Analytics Engineer to build core data models and scale data infrastructure. Owns dbt, Looker backend, and Airbyte ETL.
Culture: Strong emphasis on culture; detailed questionnaire to assess candidates holistically.
Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines for data ingestion, processing, and storage.
- Develop and maintain dbt data models.
- Collaborate with analysts and stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver actionable insights.
- Implement data quality and validation processes for accuracy and reliability.
- Optimize existing data pipelines for performance and scalability.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for pipelines, models, and solutions.
- Assist in developing and maintaining the data warehouse and lake infrastructure.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 6 years experience in data analytics, data engineering, or analytics engineering.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with GCP or similar cloud data warehouses.
- Proficient in dbt & Git.
- Proficient in Python programming (preferred).
- Experience with AWS or equivalent cloud services.
- Excellent communication skills to present complex findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Proven track record of delivering data-driven solutions.
