Full-Time Senior Analytics Engineer

PayNearMe develops technology for the end-to-end customer payment experience. Our modern platform lowers payment costs, increases acceptance rates and streamlines exceptions.

We're seeking a dynamic Senior Analytics Engineer to support our internal BI and reporting tools. The role focuses on data flow, data products for internal and external customers, data quality monitoring, data governance, and collaboration with engineering teams.

Responsibilities:

• Delivering comprehensive analytics via modeling data with Snowflake, dbt, and Looker.
• Collaborating with engineering teams on database design best practices.
• Extracting business data from source systems to the data lake.
• Developing data transformations for data analytics.
• Building a semantic layer for BI and reporting tools.
• Maintaining and enhancing data quality monitoring.
• Implementing data governance practices.
• Providing state-of-the-art analytics to stakeholders.
• Mentoring team members and providing technical leadership.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of analytics engineering experience
• Strong dbt or similar tool expertise
• SQL proficiency (MySQL, SnowSQL)
• Expert in data warehouse modeling
• Strong collaboration and leadership skills
• Proficient in Python or other object-oriented languages
• Building reliable systems & diagnostic skills
• Strong organizational and communication skills

Additional Information:

• Compensation: $150,000 - $170,000 per year
