Full-Time Senior Associate - Policy Analytics

Avalere is seeking an Associate/Senior Associate to join our Policy Analytics group. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to shaping and analyzing healthcare policy and delivering actionable insights.

What you'll do:

• Support project teams to solve client problems.
• Engage clients with solutions and ideas.
• Conduct quantitative research (policy modeling, statistical analyses, etc.).
• Assist in translating policy changes' implications.
• Draft summaries, white papers, and presentations.
• Deepen subject matter expertise.
• Work independently and in cross-functional teams.
• Draft scopes of work.

About you:

• A degree in health policy, public policy, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of government payers (Medicare Part D, Medicare Part B, Medicare Advantage, Medicaid).
• Familiarity with healthcare data sources.
• Demonstrated analytic and quantitative skills.
• Strong interest and knowledge of healthcare policy.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Advanced experience with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Experience with programming languages (SAS, SQL, Stata, R) is preferred.
• Ability to synthesize analytical results.
• Outstanding problem-solving and analytic skills.
• Initiative, ability to work independently.
• Teamwork skills.
• Experience managing multiple deadlines.
