The Opportunity: Data-driven decision-making is vital. Our AI-powered ELT (Extract, Load, Transform) application simplifies data workflows. As a Senior Backend Software Developer, you’ll deliver innovative solutions to our users, ensuring a functional and user-friendly platform.
The Team: You’ll collaborate with a remote, cross-functional team of designers, product managers, and software engineers to revolutionize ELT operations.
Technical Skills:
- 4+ years of backend development experience (data-intensive applications).
- Proficiency in at least one backend language (e.g., Python, Typescript).
- Strong AWS experience (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, Redshift).
- Familiarity with data engineering tools (Apache Airflow, Kafka, Spark).
- Understanding of ELT/ETL processes.
- Strong problem-solving skills, clean, maintainable code.
Collaboration & Communication:
- Strong English communication skills.
- B2 English level required.
Responsibilities:
- Building REST APIs using Node.js/Typescript on AWS.
- Collaborating with product, design, and QA.
- Code review participation.
- Optimizing application performance.
- Developing features using AWS tools (Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, Redshift).
- Automating deployments (Terraform, Serverless).
- Identifying and resolving bottlenecks for high availability.
First 30 days: Getting familiar with team, environment, and systems. First Pull Request, review participation.
First 60 days: Taking ownership of a feature, deployment with QA, presenting work.
First 90 days: Leading larger feature development, testing, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
