Full-Time Senior BI Backend Developer

Experiences and requirements:

Education: University degree within IT or similar

Work experiences – time/seniority/ sector: At least 8 years of experience in BI world

Technical/ IT knowledge:

• Expertise in SAP BW/HANA
• Strong knowledge of SAP BW/HANA architecture and data modeling.
• Experience with ADSO, Composite Providers, Open ODS Views, and SAP HANA Calculation Views.
• SAP HANA Data Modeling (not a must)
• Proficiency in native SAP HANA data modeling.
• Skills in SQL and HANA Script.

ETL Processes and Data Integration

• Ability to integrate data from various source systems (both SAP and non-SAP).

ABAP Development

• Experience with ABAP particularly for minor custom developments in the SAP BW context (e.g., routines, user exits).

Experience with Reporting Tools

• Familiarity with SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), Analysis for Office, or other frontend tools integrated with BW.

Project Experience

• Experience with implementation, migration, and optimization projects in the SAP BW domain.
• Ability to design and execute end-to-end architectures.

Understanding of Business Processes

• Familiarity with various SAP modules such as FI/CO, SD (preferred), MM, PP, or HR and their data models in BW.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

Agile and Traditional Project Management

• Experience working in agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban) as well as traditional waterfall methodologies.
• Proficiency in creating technical documentation and specifications.
• Experience with both automated and manual testing processes.

Documentation and Testing

Language – with level Fluent English
