The Business Analysts team’s mission is to drive strategic decision-making and business growth at PartnerStack through insightful financial analysis and rigorous planning. You will play a key role in translating complex financial data into actionable insights, supporting business planning, forecasting, and performance management.
What you’ll doPartnerStack is seeking a Sr. Business Analyst with strong SaaS experience to help drive budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis. This role will focus on forward-looking financial models, in-depth analysis, and reporting of monthly revenue, operating expenses, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
As the Sr. Business Analyst, you will provide critical financial insights that drive operational efficiencies, helping department leaders maximize their investments and impact on top-line growth.
The successful Senior Business Analyst will:
- Support the organization with budget management, forecasting, data-driven analysis, and headcount planning
- Improve financial visibility, control, and planning effectiveness through scalable processes
- Partner closely with Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Operations and Product teams
- Facilitate alignment on revenue goals, resource allocation, and strategies to maximize ROI
- Lead the Finance section of the quarterly Board package and manage streamlined monthly and quarterly reporting
- Provide key insights into financial performance
- Develop and spearhead a process that supports the dynamic modeling of our revenue, as well as departmental operating budget
- Establish and monitor key financial performance indicators, aligning them with company OKRs
- Support various finance and operations initiatives
You’re a great candidate if you have…
- 2–4 years of demonstrated success in roles like investment banking, management consulting, accounting, startups, or other strategy/operations positions
- Working experience with SaaS startups
- Strong understanding of SaaS business models, sales motions, and key financial metrics
- Proficiency in core accounting concepts, Excel/Google Sheets and SQL
- Financial modeling experience
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment
- Strong communication skills
