We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to join our Player Engagement team overseeing Canada, Iberia and Latin America (CILA). Reporting to the Head of CRM Intelligence, this analyst will conduct extensive quantitative analysis on our player bonus spending and resulting player behaviors; all while translating such analysis into strategic recommendations to ensure we best provide value to our players across all CILA.
This Analyst will also inform the creation of predictive data models to identify critical actions needed in specific lifecycle stages in our players journeys, and will partner with our Data & BI team to help them prioritize the dashboards and BI tools of highest need to empower our CRM teams.
Responsibilities
- Conduct specific, quantitative, data research around our customers behaviors in different lifecycle stages, measuring the effectiveness of our campaigns addressing those and other KPIs
- Respond to adhoc needs of Business and Product stakeholders, conducting quick-yet-pragmatic large data analysis when needed to distill key insights required to inform decision making, and help drive further player acquisition, engagement and retention
- Partner with the respective bonus campaign automation and local bonus teams to conduct uplift analysis and A/B testing on most important bonus initiatives ran by CRM organization – while coaching and training them to conduct those analysis on their own
- Evaluate needs of CRM teams for analysis and BI tools most key for them to measure campaign impact, and support efforts towards their development in collaboration with Data & BI teams
- Regularly update different stakeholders, including CRM and Country leaders, with the precise information and insights to enable strategic decision-making
- Identify predictive behavior models useful to inform campaign automation around player journeys, and lead their development in partnership with Data Science teams
- Create support documentation for analysis findings, presentations, reports, training sessions, templates, etc.
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum 4 years in roles focused on large-data quantitative analysis
- Preference for backgrounds in Management Consulting, Finance, Data Analytics or Statistics
- Experienced ideating quantitative methodologies to estimate financial ROI of spending activities
- Highly experience in conducting pragmatic 80/20 “directionally-correct” analysis when needed, finding balance between speed and accuracy
- High awareness of basic Statistics concepts (e.g., standard deviations, analysis significance, etc)
- Proficient using data analysis manipulation software beyond Excel (e.g., Python, Alteryx, Tableau, etc.)
- Familiarity with SQL and overall data access & extraction tools
- Passion and excitement for running quantitative data analysis – role will require somebody who finds joy in crunching large datasets to uncover insights
Bonus Qualifications
- Professional experience with customer-oriented promotional spend and/or data insights roles in B2C companies with high volume of promotional spending (e.g., bonus, awards, coupons, etc.)
- Knowledge of online casino and sportsbook industry and their player behaviors, motivations, and retention drivers
- Knowledge of all key stages of B2C customer lifecycles and associated marketing activities for each
- Completely fluent written and spoken English skills
- Must be based (or willing to relocate) and authorized to work in a hybrid model in Toronto (CA)
