Senior Business Development Manager role at Endava identifies new clients, introduces capabilities, guides customers through the sales cycle, and offers solutions to achieve business goals through IT environment transformation.
- Serve as trusted advisor: Selling IT Professional Services, building collaborative relationships.
- Identify potential clients: Lead generation, cold calling, networking, referrals, online research.
- Execute end-to-end sales cycle: Client acquisition, deal closure, revenue growth.
- Develop a robust pipeline: Researching and contacting prospects.
- Negotiate & close deals: Strategic new business deals.
- Achieve sales targets: Delivering revenue goals.
- Become subject matter expert (SME): Deep industry knowledge, technological landscape, and challenges.
- Exceed financial goals: Grow book-of-business, drive revenue, achieve uncapped commission.
- Thought leadership: Participating in speaking events, workshops, panels, and conferences.
- Participate in external events.
Experience requirements:
- 8-10+ years of new business development experience focused on offshore/nearshore IT Professional Services.
- Strong understanding of Media (Broadcasting, Publishing, Sports, Betting) industry trends and challenges.
- Existing network of contacts and/or previous customers.
- Experience leading strategic new business development initiatives.
- Sales-driven, hunter-centric sales experience.
- Ability to identify industry pain points.
- Strong negotiation and closing skills.
- Experience selling various commercial models (T&M, outcome-based, managed services).
- Experience preparing proposals, business cases, and statements of work.

- Travel: Local, within-country, and international travel (valid passport, driver's license).
- Physical requirements: Occasional lifting (up to 25 lbs) at trade shows or live events.
