Senior Consulting Director, Digital Forensics & Incident Response (DFIR), is responsible for leading Unit 42's DFIR consulting practice in North America. This role involves daily delivery management, functional support, and strategic direction for the practice. Key responsibilities include advising customers, growing a profitable business, and providing high-stakes incident response services to clients.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategy with DFIR Managing Director and service line leaders.
- Manage goals and milestones for quarterly, annual, and long-term objectives.
- Drive innovation in reactive offerings, collaborating with cross-functional teams to leverage Palo Alto Networks products.
- Advance existing DFIR services, ensuring quality and customer service.
- Integrate threat intelligence into services via feedback loops with Threat Intelligence.
- Partner on scaling the Unit 42 Retainer offering.
- Recruit and onboard top DFIR talent.
- Support consultant professional growth.
- Foster a positive work culture.
- Manage DFIR consulting team productivity.
- Execute service development, enablement, and process strategies for product pull-through.
- Maintain relationships with key clients, increasing awareness of Unit 42 capabilities.
- Enhance Unit 42 presence via thought leadership (speaking, articles, etc.).
- Manage the consulting team to meet goals.
- Provide hands-on digital forensics and incident response services to clients.
Experience Requirements:
- Managing, leading, and motivating consultants.
- Leading security vision, strategy, and programs.
- Leading large teams in complex DFIR investigations.
- Travel as needed.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, communicating at CxO/Board level.
- Managing performance and careers of senior DFIR personnel.
- Technical proficiency in cybersecurity services (digital forensics, incident response, etc.).
- Client service and client management skills.
- Understanding of client needs in DFIR investigations.
- Public speaking and writing skills (technical reports, business comms).
