Full-Time Senior Credit Strategy Analyst / Senior Data Scientist

Social Finance seeks Senior Credit Strategy Analyst/Senior Data Scientist in Frisco, TX.

Job Duties: Analyze and evaluate data to develop and propose value-added credit risk strategies and models. Develop and implement personal loan underwriting and loan amount assignment strategies. Conduct fair lending testing for underwriting strategies. Monitor and analyze risk trends to provide insights and recommendations.

Collaborate with Business Units, Capital Markets, Product, and Engineering. Utilize business knowledge and quantitative/analytical skills to drive revenue, control risk, and provide value to the company and consumers.

Possess a data-driven analytics background and strategic acumen. Direct a function that draws strategic insights from data using database and statistical analysis tools. Support SoFi’s strategic goals for loss prevention and profit optimization.

Telecommuting is an option. Some travel to SoFi offices may be required.

Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Data Science, Business, Business Analytics, or a related quantitative discipline, and four (4) years of experience; OR Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) and six (6) years of progressively responsible experience.

Special Skill Requirements: SQL, Python, Decision Trees, Credit strategy/Fraud strategy, Financial analysis, Data analysis, Tableau, AWS

Salary: $180,000.00 - $207,000.00 per annum
