Senior Crypto and Open Source Intelligence Specialist
Summary: The Senior COSINT Specialist will lead surveillance, information-gathering, and intelligence from blockchains, the deep/dark web, social media, forums, and online sources in support of the Enforcement Division.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Crypto and Blockchain Transactions: Lead blockchain tools to trace cryptocurrency transactions for illicit activities. Continuously evaluate emerging crypto technologies.
- Web Surveillance: Review and recommend surveillance practices, optimizing OSINT for threat identification.
- Web Capture: Lead and perform web capture functions, updating procedures and implementing new technologies.
- Investigation Support: Conduct early detection on crypto activities and cannabis developments. Support investigation teams with OSINT-analytics.
- Relationship Management: Work with other teams to identify technology use opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Computer Science or related STEM degree
- Proven experience tracing and analyzing blockchain transactions
- Minimum 10 years of experience in intelligence analysis
- Strong team-based skills, project management, analytical, and problem-solving skills
