RT² is seeking a Senior Cyber Security Specialist to advance cyber defense strategies within a fast-paced SaaS environment.
Responsibilities:
- Lead IT security operations, including endpoint protection, vulnerability assessments, and incident response.
- Mentor and support the growth of the Cyber Security Specialist.
- Drive enhancements to patch management and vulnerability remediation strategies.
- Partner with teams to refine security controls across systems, networks, and applications.
- Monitor environments for threats using SIEM tools and log analysis.
- Conduct security audits and translate findings into actionable roadmaps.
- Evaluate and implement new security technologies.
- Collaborate on SSO integration and identity access management.
- Ensure adherence to compliance standards such as SOC 1/2, PCI-DSS, ISO, CIS, and NIST.
- Improve employee security awareness training.
- Maintain documentation of systems, protocols, and incident reports.
- Lead investigations and response plans for security breaches.
- Stay ahead of cybersecurity threats through professional development.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Senior Cyber Security Specialist or similar role.
- Experience mentoring team members.
- Hands-on experience with log analysis, threat hunting, and incident response.
- Familiarity with vulnerability scanning tools.
- Understanding of Azure Entra and Microsoft Active Directory.
- Proficient in configuring antivirus, firewalls, cloud security tools, and endpoint protection platforms.
- Knowledge of identity and access management principles and technologies.
- Knowledge of compliance frameworks: SOC 1/2, PCI/DSS, ISO 27001, NIST.
- Advanced certifications preferred.
- Experience with cloud security is a plus.
- Strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
