Full-Time Senior Data Analyst

Role & Responsibilities: As a Senior Data Analyst, you'll design and implement data solutions to scale durable carbon removal. You'll own critical data infrastructure, shape analytics strategy, mentor others, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

1. Design and build robust, scalable data pipelines (ETL/ELT) using Python, SQL, DBT, and Spark/Snowpark.
2. Implement data quality monitoring, validation, and enforce data contracts.
3. Develop and maintain modular analytics layers and ML-ready datasets.
4. Enable self-service analytics through well-modeled data and intuitive Power BI dashboards.
5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into data solutions.
6. Drive engineering excellence through mentorship, documentation, and best practices.

Skills & Experience:

• Strong skills in SQL and Python with data warehouse experience.
• Experience with Apache Spark, PySpark, DBT, Snowpark, Hive, or Hadoop MapReduce.
• Experience with data storage systems (e.g., HDFS, Azure Data Lake, Amazon S3/EMR, Google BigQuery).
• Familiarity with common data formats (e.g., Parquet, ORC, Avro, Iceberg).
• Experience building ETL/ELT pipelines and using Power BI or similar BI tools.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of data analytics experience or equivalent academic background.
• Degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics).
• Excellent communication skills in English.
