Full-Time Senior Data Analyst

Mindoula is seeking a Senior Data Analyst with a passion for visualizing and analyzing healthcare claims and operational data. The role involves creating actionable insights to support member engagement and deliver more efficient public health services.

You'll own projects from start to finish and collaborate directly with business stakeholders. The role has external deadlines, so dependability and timeliness are essential.

Responsibilities:

1. Create and present clear, actionable data visualizations and reports for stakeholders.
2. Enhance business intelligence functionality, maximizing self-service and automating requests.
3. Design and execute complex SQL queries and scripts for data extraction, transformation, and analysis, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
4. Conduct exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights for business and clinical objectives.
5. Validate data for quality and consistency, identifying anomalies and inconsistencies.
6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data requirements for ad-hoc queries and validation requests.
7. Develop and maintain documentation for query and validation processes, ensuring knowledge sharing and best practices.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science).
• 5+ years of proven experience as a Data Analyst.
• Healthcare experience required.
• Proficiency in AWS, AWS Athena, SQL, and a business intelligence tool (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
• Experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL).
• Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Python).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, translating complex data into meaningful insights.
• Experience with data validation techniques and best practices.
• Excellent communication skills for presenting findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Detail-oriented, capable of managing multiple ad-hoc requests.
