Full-Time Senior Data Engineer

BlackStone eIT is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join our innovative team.

You will be responsible for the design, development, and optimization of our data infrastructure.

Support data analytics initiatives by ensuring robust and scalable data pipelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable data architectures and pipelines.
• Develop ETL processes for smooth data transfer and transformation.
• Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to fulfill data needs.
• Optimize database performance and maintain data integrity.
• Conduct data quality checks and resolve discrepancies.
• Mentor junior data engineers and provide technical guidance.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in data engineering.
• Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases.
• Hands-on experience with data pipeline tools and ETL processes.
• Familiarity with big data technologies (Hadoop, Spark) is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Experience with cloud-based data solutions is an advantage.
