As part of our Global Technology Office (GTO), you will play a key role in shaping and implementing our global data governance strategy.
We are seeking a Senior Data Governance Analyst to drive the development and execution of data governance frameworks, ensuring data quality, accountability, and consistency across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive data governance strategy aligned with overall business objectives.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders (business units, regional teams, process owners, corporate functions, and the data privacy office) to identify data owners and establish clear accountability.
- Define and document data governance policies and data quality rules, ensuring consistent application across the organization.
- Lead the implementation of a Data Governance and Data Quality platform to support governance frameworks and tools.
- Monitor and report on data governance metrics, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in data governance and data management.
Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Management, or a related field.
Experience: 5+ years in data governance, data management, or a related role, ideally in the testing, certification, or inspection industry.
Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of data governance frameworks and tools such as Collibra, Alation, Informatica, or Microsoft Purview.
Leadership: Proven success in building and guiding high-performing teams.
Certifications: CDMP, CISSP, or similar data governance/management certifications are a plus.
Tools Knowledge: Familiarity with data quality monitoring tools.
Skills:
- Languages: Strong written and verbal communication skills in Spanish and English; additional languages are a plus.
- Project Management: Ability to lead and deliver data-related initiatives on time and within scope.
- Collaboration: Skilled at working with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels.
- Analytical Thinking: Ability to translate complex ideas into clear, actionable steps.
- Communication: Excellent ability to convey technical concepts in a clear and accessible manner, both verbally and in writing.
