Job Details
We're looking for a Senior DBT Analytics Engineer (Healthcare) to join an international analytics team. You’ll play a key role in building, maintaining, and scaling DBT models that power healthcare data products.
What You'll Be Doing
- Design, build, and maintain DBT models to support healthcare analytics.
- Write and optimize complex SQL transformations.
- Update existing models in line with yearly methodology changes (CMS, MSSP, risk adjustment, attribution rules).
- Translate complex open-source specifications (e.g., CMS documentation) into scalable DBT code.
- Collaborate with the analytics team on bug fixes, model improvements, and new functionality.
- Develop expertise in healthcare analytics methodologies and contribute to long-term product enhancements.
What You Bring
- Strong experience with DBT and SQL (complex transformations, data modeling).
- Prior experience with U.S. healthcare data (diagnosis, procedures, claims, attribution, risk adjustment) strongly preferred.
- Ability to interpret complex technical/healthcare specifications and implement them in code.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with analytics and product teams.
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with modern data warehouses (Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift).
- Experience with CI/CD in analytics workflows.
- Prior exposure to healthcare compliance standards (HIPAA, CMS).
