We are seeking a strategic Senior Director, Identity and Access Management (IAM) to join our Global Security Office.
You will lead a multi-year IAM strategy, adapting it to new technologies and complex requirements. You will supervise technical teams focused on Identity Governance & Administration (IGA) and Privileged Access Management (PAM).
Essential skills include technical leadership, experience driving efficiency through automation and AI, and inspiring/developing teams.
The role requires leading Experian's IAM program transformation and building threat-informed defense controls within a vast, global environment.
Responsibilities:
- Guide and evolve the IAM strategy to align with business and cybersecurity goals, incorporating new technologies and best practices.
- Proactively address IAM needs and risks, anticipating challenges from new initiatives, threats, and regulatory changes across on-premises and multi-cloud environments.
- Transform the IAM operating model through cross-functional partnerships to identify evolving requirements.
- Lead and develop a high-performing IGA & PAM team, fostering innovation and collaboration.
- Optimize team operations via effective resource allocation and project prioritization.
- Oversee the design, implementation, and operation of scalable IGA and PAM solutions, leveraging automation and AI.
- Ensure strong identity lifecycle management, including access reviews, segregation of duties, and privileged access controls.
- Establish and track IAM performance metrics, collaborating with audit and compliance.
- Manage IAM vendors and tools, adhering to industry best practices.
- Integrate automation and AI into IAM operations to improve workflows and incident response.
- Enhance user experience and security posture by resolving complex IAM issues.
Requirements:
- 8+ years of progressive experience in Identity and Access Management, with at least 5+ years in a global leadership role.
- Experience developing and executing multi-year IAM strategies in a global enterprise environment.
- Deep technical expertise in IGA and PAM solutions (e.g., SailPoint, Centrify, CyberArk).
- Demonstrated experience leading technical teams.
- Experience with IAM protocols (e.g., SAML, OAuth, OIDC, SCIM, LDAP) and cloud IAM capabilities (e.g., AWS IAM, Azure AD).
- Experience driving automation and using scripting, APIs, and orchestration tools.
- Understanding of AI applications in enhancing IAM capabilities.
- Experience communicating and influencing partners at all levels.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
