Full-Time Senior Director of Research+Analytics

Aetion is seeking an experienced biostatistician for a Senior Director of Research+Analytics position, proficient in biostatistics, epidemiology, R programming, and team management.

Responsibilities:

1. Manage a team of R programmers for timely analysis delivery.
2. Serve as a statistical/epidemiologic expert, supporting robust real-world research (protocol, analysis plan, design, sample size, methodologies).
3. Conduct R programming for data management, results interpretation, and report/manuscript writing.
4. Lead methodologic research projects.
5. Contribute to software product feature development.
6. Provide input on analytic product features and their testing.
7. Maintain knowledge in statistical methods for observational studies.
8. Mentor early-career programmers and biostatisticians/epidemiologists.

Qualifications:

• PhD in biostatistics, statistics, or epidemiology
• 5+ years of relevant experience
• Extensive expertise in observational studies, real-world data analysis.
• Experience with administrative claims, EHRs, and disease registries
• Proficiency in R programming and GitHub
• People management experience
• Excellent communication skills
