Purpose & Overall Relevance:We seek a strategic Senior Director, Product Marketing to lead and scale our function. You'll own the go-to-market strategy for our anti-ransomware platform, crafting compelling narratives differentiating us in the evolving market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategy & Leadership: Own the product marketing strategy aligning with business objectives, grow the product marketing team, and advise product management, sales, and executives.
- Messaging & Positioning: Define differentiated messaging for security buyers (CISOs, analysts, IT leaders). Translate technical capabilities into value-based stories.
- Go-to-Market & Launches: Lead cross-functional GTM planning for launches, updates, and solutions. Develop content for various buyer personas and segments.
- Sales & Partner Enablement: Create sales enablement tools (battlecards, playbooks, talk tracks, etc.). Collaborate with sales to improve deal velocity and win rates.
- Market Intelligence: Conduct competitive and market research, providing actionable intelligence for product, marketing, and sales teams. Track trends, customer challenges, and threats impacting strategy.
- Customer & Analyst Engagement: Serve as a spokesperson for internal and external audiences (analysts, media, high-value customers). Source customer stories, case studies, and testimonials.
Skills:
- Technical credibility with CISOs and security professionals.
- Strategic thinking and execution in a fast-paced environment.
- Outcome-oriented, collaborative, and driven by customer insights.
- Experience with analyst relations (e.g., Gartner, Forrester).
- Proven experience launching complex technical products.
- Strong leadership and mentoring skills.
Qualifications:
- 12+ years B2B product marketing, 5+ in cybersecurity.
- Deep understanding of the cybersecurity buyer journey.
- Proven success launching and positioning complex technical products.
- Strong communication and storytelling skills.
- Proficiency in relevant tools (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.).
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related field.
