Full-Time Senior Engineer, Platform

We are looking for an experienced and visionary Senior Platform Engineer to lead the development and optimization of our AWS cloud infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

• Lead design and implementation of highly available, scalable, and secure cloud infrastructure in AWS.
• Architect cloud solutions optimized for performance, security, and cost-efficiency, including multi-region, multi-account, and hybrid cloud architectures.
• Drive automation initiatives, building robust Infrastructure as Code (IaC) frameworks using tools like AWS CloudFormation, Terraform, or Ansible.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to platform engineers.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless service and application integration.
• Oversee CI/CD pipelines, ensuring fast, reliable, and automated deployment processes.
• Lead complex troubleshooting and performance tuning efforts for cloud infrastructure and applications.
• Implement security best practices, including monitoring, logging, and incident response.
• Evaluate and integrate new AWS services and emerging cloud technologies.
• Develop and enforce governance models for cloud environments.
• Act as subject matter expert (SME) on AWS.

Qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure design and management with a strong focus on AWS.
• Expertise in architecting, implementing, and managing complex cloud environments.
• Proven experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Strong experience with Linux/Unix systems and automation.
• In-depth knowledge of networking, security, and cloud architecture best practices.
• Experience implementing and optimizing CI/CD pipelines.
• Advanced proficiency with monitoring, logging, and observability tools.
• Leadership and mentoring experience.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.

Preferred Skills:

• AWS Certified Solutions Architect (Professional)
• Deep experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and container orchestration.
• Expertise in multi-cloud or hybrid cloud strategies.
• Experience with service mesh architectures (e.g., Istio, Linkerd)
• Hands-on experience with security compliance frameworks.
• Familiarity with serverless architectures.

Salary Range: $130,000 - $165,650
