Your Department

We operate Open Telekom Cloud, a public cloud standard product built on open-source community software, adhering to DevSecOps principles. Our lean structures, agile methods, highly motivated teams, and dynamic environment drive our actions. We are the anchor point for the Public Cloud business in Deutsche Telekom Group.

Our Focus

We prioritize delivering a secure, stable, and innovative platform. We collaborate with our platform partners and other OpenStack ecosystem partners to create a highly innovative public cloud based on European security and data protection standards.

Our Team

We seek professionals who are enthusiastic about cloud technology and capable of tackling the challenges of developing and operating a large-scale public cloud. We offer unique insights into a large public cloud’s inner workings, intercultural teamwork, flat hierarchies, and an independent work style.

Your Tasks

As an "Engineer Security and Forensics Public Cloud", you will stay abreast of the latest Security & Cloud developments. Your responsibilities include preventing and responding to cyberattacks, security breaches, and data breaches.

• Analyze and mitigate data and cyber risks.
• Perform penetration testing and proactively combat attacks.
• Conduct forensic analysis and implement preventive measures.
• Act as a trusted advisor on information and IT security.
• Collaborate in a specialist team characterized by open communication and mutual support.

Your Profile

• Completed technical, engineering, or scientific degree, or equivalent professional training.
• 3-5 years of IT experience, ideally in cloud security.
• Relevant IT security certifications.
• Hands-on experience in averting attacks and forensic analysis.
• Knowledge of relevant scanning/assessment tools.
• Strong proficiency in Linux and network-related services.
• Strong customer focus.
• Understanding of agile development processes.
• Fluency in written and spoken English.
