Full-Time Senior Engineering Manager

We’re looking for a Senior Engineering Manager to join the team delivering our Zable App, used by over 1 million customers on iOS and Android. In this role you will be responsible for the delivery efficiency, technical excellence, and cross-functional collaboration of the SuperApp team, balancing feature development with technical investments and maintaining high team development standards. You’ll achieve this through managing and mentoring two Engineering Managers as they lead their teams and your own team of engineers.

What you’ll do

• Manage and mentor your Engineering Managers to ensure high performance across delivery, people management, technology, and cross-functional collaboration.
• Own and optimize the delivery process to ensure features reach customers efficiently.
• Collaborate with the Head of Product and Product Managers to balance feature development with technical improvements.
• Build and develop a high-performing team through resource planning, recruiting, regular assessments, cross-training, and clear career progression pathways.
• Drive technical strategy in alignment with business goals, ensuring a consistent approach between teams.
• Establish best practices in quality assurance and incident management.
• Facilitate cross-team collaboration to align on objectives and integrated roadmaps.
• Embed continuous feedback to foster continuous improvement.

What we’re looking for

• Degree in Computer Science or relevant experience.
• 6+ years of experience in engineering leadership roles, managing managers and operating across a broad business domain.
• Strong understanding of the mobile app development process and experience managing cross-functional backend and frontend teams.
• Strong business acumen and proactive approach to gaining business context.
• Proven experience in owning delivery timelines and quality outcomes.
• Skilled in building high-performing teams.
• Exceptional communication and collaboration skills.
