Full-Time Senior Finance Analyst

Circle is looking for a dynamic Senior Finance Analyst to join our General & Administrative (G&A) FP&A team.

In this newly created role, you will be a key business partner to functional leaders across multiple departments, such as Talent, Legal, Finance, and Risk & Compliance, providing financial insights, driving budget discipline, and enabling strategic decision-making.

You will support budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and long-range planning initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Maintaining and improving financial models that forecast, track, and analyze financials, including opex budgets for each department.
• Engaging with leaders and budget stakeholders to facilitate forecasting of key operational spend areas, including headcount, compensation, and vendor spend.
• Contributing to monthly reporting and variance analysis.
• Tracking headcount, compensation, and operating expenses across G&A functions.
• Preparing and presenting consolidated reporting packages for executive leadership.
• Identifying and driving process improvements across forecasting, reporting, and planning.
• Contributing to the evolution of Circle’s finance capabilities by being a key part of ERP and EPM implementation processes and actively seeking to improve finance processes across the organization.
• Supporting ad hoc financial analysis and special projects as needed.

Qualifications:

• 4+ years of FP&A experience, proven ability to build financial forecast models and analyze extensive datasets.
• Advanced proficiency in Google Sheets / Microsoft Excel, using these tools effectively to create meaningful financial insights.
• Knowledge of GAAP accounting standards, financial statement interactions, and ability to build dynamic three-statement models.
• Exceptional financial and strategic analysis, translating findings into actionable recommendations.
• Past experience working with financial systems and building FP&A models in planning tools.
• Familiarity with generative AI models (ChatGPT, Gemini, etc.) and prompt development.

• Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting.
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic, innovative startup environment.
• Energetic about blockchain technology.
• Experience with Slack, Apple MacOS, and GSuite.

• Base Pay Range: $102,500 - $137,500
