Senior Financial Analyst This role requires a seasoned Senior Financial Analyst to provide detailed financial insights and help drive strategic decision-making.
The ideal candidate will have significant experience as an embedded business partner with success in understanding the key drivers of value creation across a diverse business.
Responsibilities:
- Preparing monthly analysis on key financial statement accounts (revenue, expense, and balance sheet accounts).
- Supporting detailed analysis of corporate cost centers to allow corporate leaders to understand and control their respective cost bases.
- Leading the financial analysis of the Job Corps line of business.
- Supporting existing finance resources and operational leaders.
- Leading all aspects of controllable expenses reporting including identifying key trends, summarizing themes for leadership teams, and providing ideas to save money and improve controllership.
- Leading analysis of corporate cost bases and recoveries.
- Assisting with quarterly forecasts and annual budget process.
- Participating in finance led process improvement activities and other special projects.
- Collecting and presenting financial information to senior executives relating to risks and opportunities for issues and improvements.
- Assisting with finance due diligence activity.
- Supporting ad hoc financial analysis requests.
Qualifications:
- Education: BS/BA in Accounting, Finance, Business, Economics or related experience.
- Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in a senior Financial Analyst role.
- Skills: Understanding of accounting principles and financial operations. Experienced, with demonstrated career progression, managing multiple types of systems with varying degrees of complexity. Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills. Hands-on and detail-oriented. Strong modeling, forecasting and budgeting experience. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and SAP (preferred).
