Full-Time Senior Financial Analyst

Senior Financial Analyst This role requires a seasoned Senior Financial Analyst to provide detailed financial insights and help drive strategic decision-making.

The ideal candidate will have significant experience as an embedded business partner with success in understanding the key drivers of value creation across a diverse business.

Responsibilities:

1. Preparing monthly analysis on key financial statement accounts (revenue, expense, and balance sheet accounts).
2. Supporting detailed analysis of corporate cost centers to allow corporate leaders to understand and control their respective cost bases.
3. Leading the financial analysis of the Job Corps line of business.
4. Supporting existing finance resources and operational leaders.
5. Leading all aspects of controllable expenses reporting including identifying key trends, summarizing themes for leadership teams, and providing ideas to save money and improve controllership.
6. Leading analysis of corporate cost bases and recoveries.
7. Assisting with quarterly forecasts and annual budget process.
8. Participating in finance led process improvement activities and other special projects.
9. Collecting and presenting financial information to senior executives relating to risks and opportunities for issues and improvements.
10. Assisting with finance due diligence activity.
11. Supporting ad hoc financial analysis requests.

Qualifications:

• Education: BS/BA in Accounting, Finance, Business, Economics or related experience.
• Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in a senior Financial Analyst role.
• Skills: Understanding of accounting principles and financial operations. Experienced, with demonstrated career progression, managing multiple types of systems with varying degrees of complexity. Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills. Hands-on and detail-oriented. Strong modeling, forecasting and budgeting experience. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and SAP (preferred).
• Other: Adept to function well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Strong communication skills – ability to condense information and be concise.
