What you get to do in this role:
- Respond to customers' security questions and issues.
- Come up with ways to do things faster, better, and more effectively.
- Work with teams to maintain up-to-date baselines for the secure configuration of ServiceNow instances.
- Participate as an escalation contact in the On-Call rotation, ensuring Security Operations can respond to priority incidents.
- Assist with the deployment, integration, and initial configuration of new security solutions or enhancements to existing solutions.
- Work with customers to explain appropriate security behavior and configuration.
- Work in a collaborative environment with internal teams on critical Security Issues.
Requirements:
- Passing ServiceNow background screening, USFedPASS (US Federal Personnel Authorization Screening Standards).
- This includes a credit check, criminal/misdemeanor check, and drug test.
Experience:
- 4+ years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 3+ years of ServiceNow platform experience.
Skills:
- Automation knowledge (Python, bash scripting).
- Experience hardening SaaS platforms.
- Background working with data logging applications (e.g., Splunk).
- Knowledge of vulnerability scanning tools (Qualys, Nessus).
- Knowledge of BurpSuite.
- Knowledge of OWASP Top 10 Vulnerabilities.
Other Requirements:

- Ability to explain complex issues to executives and customers.
Certifications (Preferred):
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA).
- ServiceNow advanced configuration knowledge (ACL, Business Rules, etc.)
- GSEC, GCIH, CEH, GCIA, or CISSP certifications.
