Senior IT Engineer - Hybrid - Glasgow

We’re recruiting a Senior Support Engineer to join our busy team in Glasgow, Scotland.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide senior-level expertise in design and implementation of solutions, supporting the business.
• Manage all project management for team projects.
• Identify potential issues and improvements to systems and provide solutions for changing business requirements.
• Involve in project work on wider business IT infrastructure and platforms.

Technical Qualifications:

• Microsoft Certified Professional or equivalent
• CCNA or Fortinet Certified Professional or equivalent
• Prince2 Project Management qualification
• ITIL qualification or relevant experience

Beneficial Skills & Experience:

• Project Management experience
• ITIL experience
• ISO, Cyber Essentials, and other auditing frameworks experience
• Understanding of Cyber Security Principals
• Service desk team experience with strong change management understanding
• Support of Azure Active Directory, Azure vWAN, Azure Firewalls, Azure Landing Zone, and Office 365 features (SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Teams, etc)
• Management and deployment of Fortinet Fortigate
• Management of Meraki Cisco switching and access points
• Management and Deployment of Microsoft Hyper-V
• Management of HPE Alletra
• Management of HPE Aruba switching
